This is the second part of the 3D environment level art that I made titled “Abandoned Shinjuku Station Safe House”. It was inspired by the idea that I wanted to make a playable environment level that could be fit into a spin-off version from one of my favorite game the Division games series by Ubisoft. The setting is an abandoned safe house situated in Tokyo Japan where Shinjuku Station was established as a safe house during the Division story event.
I used 3Ds Max, Zbrush, Substance Designer, Substance Painter and Unreal Engine 4 to create this environment level. This artwork was a continuation from the 10 weeks course from CGMA titled “UE4 Modular Environments” with Clinton Crumpler. After the course ended, I continue to finish the environment level by decorating and expanding the scene. I made the buildings, trains, platforms, modular building parts and terrain for the scene, while I used some minor assets from the Industrial props package for smaller props to decorate the scene.
