Rusted Assault Rifle - UE4 &Substance

The rusted assault rifle was done as a tutorial demo for my substance painter game art lesson. I did the model in 3ds Max and textured in Substance Painter. The first two images was rendered in Substance Painter.

Afterwards, I export the stuff to Unreal Engine 4 and setup the material with parameters for material instance future use. The next 4 images was rendered in Unreal Engine 4.

The total polygon count for the rusted assault rifle is around 10,000 vertices, made ready for in-game use. One of the difference from typical workflow of mine is not creating any specular map but using the Diffuse texture instead for the specular, this method will allow some colour into the specular rather than just white specular.
