This is the first part of the 3D environment artwork that I made in the 10 weeks course from CGMA titled "Organic World Building in UE4" with Anthony Vacarro. It was inspired by the idea that I wanted to make a playable environment level that could fit into the Unchartered 4 game environment. I used 3Ds Max, ZBrush, Substance Designer, Substance Painter and Unreal Engine 4 to create this environment. It was selected as one of the best work for the course showcase.
I really learned a lot about the latest technique in creating next-gen game environment for AAA games with game engine such as Unreal Engine 4 and how AAA studio such as Naughty Dog approach the creation of 3D organic world from Anthony. I previously worked on Unreal Engine 3 for a MMORPG many years ago and needed to improve my skills set in Unreal Engine 4 level art so this course was extremely helpful. I am very thankful for Anthony lessons and mentoring for pushing me to the latest AAA game environment creation skill set.
