This is a 3D environment artwork that I made in the 10 weeks course titled "Intro to Environment Art" with Jared Sobotta from CGMA. It was inspired by the idea that I wanted to make a 3D environment that could fit in the Unchartered 4 game environment. I used 3Ds Max, Zbrush, Substance Designer and Substance Painter to create all the textures and materials for this environment from scratch, then assembled everything into Marmoset Toolbag for the final showcase. It was selected as one of the best work for the student showcase.
I really learned a lot about the latest next-gen game art creation techniques and how AAA studio such as Naughty Dog created the 3D game world from Jared, so I am very thankful for his teachings and his mentoring.
